[M551] Adjudication for Engineers

 
Course objectives
 
Adjudication is a common dispute resolution process especially in the construction industry in many places. It is meant to be an efficient means of dispute resolution process as compared with arbitration and litigation. In Hong Kong, following the proposed Security of Payment Legislation (SOPL), it is expected that adjudication will become increasingly common in Hong Kong construction industry.

  • The basic concept of adjudication
  • The process of adjudication
  • The differences among adjudication, arbitration and litigation, and some common engineering contractual clauses
  • Latest debates on the adjudication process

Certificate of Attendance in will be issued to participants who have attended more than 90% of the enrolled course hours.
