Course objectives
This course aims at giving participants an overview of facilitative mediation skills.
Mediation is astructured dispute resolution process where an impartial third party facilitate the disputing parties inresolving disputes through the use of various communication and verbal behavioural techniques.
Course contents

The course will cover basic mediation processes

The distinctive feature of facilitative mediation versus evaluative mediation

The common skills employed by mediators and its application in daily work by engineers.

Highlights of Mediation Ordinance (Cap. 620) in Hong Kong.

Some international conventions will also be covered.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance in will be issued to participants who have attended more than 90% of the enrolled course hours.
